Words of Welcome, Introduction of Guests & Minute Speak

Celebration Box:

Congratulations to you, May the dear Lord bless you

May God’s special blessing, Descend upon you.

Lighting of the Christ Candle

May the love of God be with you all.

And also with you

You have heard it said that God is loving,

But we know that this love is boundless

You have heard is said that God is forgiving

But we know that there is nothing that can separate us   from Gods grace

You have heard it said that Christ is with us when two or three are gathered

And so we gather as a community of faith, to celebrate, seek wisdom, and be inspired to share the Good News!

*Hymn:  MV#79            “Spirit Open My Heart”

Opening Prayer:

Holy God, you are the source of our being, the universal heart from which all love is born, and the reason for our worship.  As we enter into the holy community may we be reminded that your law is a gift, a key to unlocking the door to heaven on earth.  We pray for your wisdom and in return, we pledge our eyes to watch for the face of Christ in our neighbours and we pledge our hands to carry out the work you lay before us.

We pray to you who is our mother and our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
