Call to Worship:
May the love of God be with you all,
And also with you.
Something extraordinary is happening,
A change that will transform the world.
Like a butterfly breaking free of a chrysalis,
Christ calls us to break free from the bounds of
fear, sin and loneliness.
Something extraordinary is happening,
Individuals have come together to become the community of God!
Different people with different ways of thinking,
United in the prayer of making the kingdom of God a reality!
*Hymn: VU#635 “All The Way My Saviour Leads Me”
Opening Prayer:
Gracious and Holy Spirit, you have called us to this place and we have answered. We enter into worship to hear your wisdom and be nourished by your presence. We seek the wisdom to know what it is that you ask of us, and the courage to follow in your way. We seek to be touched by your transforming grace, to become more than what we were, more ready to answer, more willing to show love, more grateful for the blessing you provide. We pray to you who is our mother and our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Call to Offering
MV #191 “What Can I Do”
What can I do? What can I bring?
What can I say? What can I sing?
I’ll sing with joy. I’ll say a prayer
I’ll bring my love. I’ll do my share.
Holy Communion
Passing the Peace of Christ
God be with you.
And also with you.
Lift up our hearts.
We lift our hearts in prayer.
Let us give thanks to God.
It is good to give God thanks and praise.
Holy God, you have created us to be whole. Each breath we take is a reminder of the breath of your spirit, filling our lives with potential and blessing. Your spirit surrounds us, flows through us and sustains us throughout all our days. We give thanks for your graceful presence in our lives as we sing together:
MV# 115 “Behold, Behold, I Make All Things New”
Renewing God, we thank you for this community. Like all the ingredients that go into making our bread, we come together to create something new. Individuals, that on our own, are good, but together in this family of faith, something that can offer nourishment to our communities and the world. We celebrate our fellowship as we raise our voices and sing together:
MV#115 “Behold, Behold, I Make All Things New”
Creating God, we thank you for our home. Within your spirit, our planet spins to bring day, night, seasons, rest and renewal. We are nourished by our land, warmed by our sun, and accompanied by plant, animal and creatures that defy description or understanding – all signs of your life giving power. In praise of your creation we sing together:
MV115 “Behold, Behold, I Make All Things New”
For all you have given us and all you will still provide,
we offer you thanks:
Holy, holy holy God,
power of life and love!
Heaven and earth are full of your glory!
Hosanna through the ages!
Blest is the one who comes to bring justice
to your earth!
Prayer of Thanksgiving:
Choral Response: MV #115 “Behold, Behold, I Make All Things New”
*Hymn: VU #639 “One More Step Along the World I Go”
