Call to Worship:

May the love of God be with you all.

            And also with you

The salt of the earth has been invited to worship;

            Invited by the one who seasons all our lives.

The light of the world shines forth from this place;

            A light that finds it’s source in God’s grace.

Everyone is invited to the celebrations;

            Let us sing out our praises and rejoice our      blessings.

*Hymn:  VU# 460    “All Who Hunger”

Opening Prayer:

Loving God, we enter this place of worship, to be reminded that your presence is with us always.  Jesus said, “You are the light of the world” and we come to be reminded of how bright that light shines.  Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth” and we come to this place to have our lives seasoned with your spirit and renewed through our fellowship.

We pray to you who is our mother and our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Time with God’s Children
