Call to Worship:

May the love of God be with you all,

            And also with you.

The time has come to worship;

            The time to celebrate all that God is doing!

The time has come to tell of the Good news;

            All the earth is waiting to know the grace and

            love of God.

Come, you people of God, and know you’ve been called;

            Called to be living breathing messages of Gods   promise!

*Hymn: VU#401      “Worship the Lord”

Opening Prayer:

Holy One from the beginnings of creation you have told a story of creation, redemption, renewal and love. This is a story of your people offering inspiration and love. This is a story of Jesus, preaching wisdom, inviting us into new life, and calling us still.   Today we come as a community of faith to add our lives to this sacred story. We enter into worship with urgency, hearing Jesus’ words that a new world is near and wishing to be a part of its realization. We are in your presence, the time is here, let our worship be our pledge to be your people!   …

We pray to you who is our mother and our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
