Call to Worship:

May the love of God be with you all,

            And also with you.

Come and experience the love of God!

It’s all around us, dwelling in every heart, blowing through the air we breathe, permeating the very         stones of this holy place

Come and experience the presence of the living Christ!

He can be seen in the faces of all those who             follow his way of welcome, justice, and love of           God, neighbour and self.

This is a holy gathering of God’s own children

We lift our voices so all the world can hear: we         are blessed, we are holy, we are called!

*Hymn: MV# 142   “Oh, a Song Must Rise”

Opening Prayer:

Holy God, into this place we gather in hopes that we might glimpse a portion of your grace. We have faith that you are here and that your love and forgiveness are offered, to but we’re sometimes distracted. We sometimes forget to notice you in our day to day lives. We pray for the courage to lift the veils that obscure our vision, see you face to face, and answer your call to be your people.

We pray to you who is our mother and our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Service at the Table

Sharing the peace of Christ

God be with you.

            And also with you.

Lift up our hearts.

We lift our hearts in prayer.

Let us give thanks to God.

It is good to give God thanks and praise.

Loving God, source of all, we thank you and praise you with our lips and with our lives, that having created us and all things through your holy Word, you welcome our prayer and praise. For the goodness of creation

and the glory of redemption, we praise you.

For the law of holiness, inviting our obedience, and the call of the prophets, rebuking our disobedience,

we praise you. There with all that is, seen and unseen,

and with all the faithful of every time and place,

we join in these words of thanksgiving:

            Holy, holy holy God,

            power of life and love!

Heaven and earth are full of your glory!

            Hosanna through the ages!

Blest is the one who comes to bring justice to            your earth!
