Call to Worship:
May the love of God be with you all,
And also with you.
You who are of great faith, welcome to worship!
We come to celebrate all that God is doing.
You who have more questions than answers, welcome to worship!
We come to seek wisdom and understanding.
Those who seek a community of faith and love, welcome to worship!
Here we find companionship that embraces and challenges.
Those who find their way here for their own reasons, welcome to worship!
All are welcome, all are called to be in community, all are loved by God!
*Hymn: VU# 223 “Eternal, Unchanging”
Gracious God, we come to this place seeking the good life. First though, we ask for your wisdom so we may discern what the good life is. Does this mean happiness or security? Does this mean a life of peace and gentleness or full of adventure? Does it mean belonging or having belongings? I a good life one where we have complete freedom or one submitted to you? We pray that we feel your presence and hear your still speaking word.
In community we pray to you who is our mother and our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
Time with God’s Children

Jesus meets a man who lacks very little.
These are our words from scripture,
May God bless our understanding. Amen
